In a notable endeavour to strengthen our foothold in the energy sector, SynergenOG recently showcased our expertise at the Power Vendor Forum held at the Prime Minister’s Office in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. The event, organized by the Department of Electrical Services, brought together influential stakeholders – including the Ministry of Finance & Economy and the Ministry of Development – under one roof for a comprehensive discussion on the future of energy in Brunei.
The forum was inaugurated with profound opening remarks by Yang Mulia Hajah Farida binti Dato Seri Paduka Haji Talib, the Permanent Secretary (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office. This set the stage for an engaging keynote on the Brunei Power Landscape by Yang Mulia Pengiran Haji Jamra Weira bin Pengiran Haji Petra, the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Energy).
The event was rich in content, offering valuable insights into the Power Sector and Renewable Energy through presentations by dignitaries such as Yang Mulia Ahmad Ridza bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Rahman, Acting Director of the Department of Electrical Services, and Yang Mulia Shirley binti Sikun, Head of Energy Transition at the Department of Energy. An in-depth discussion on Brunei’s 5-Year National Development Plan and Annual Projects illuminated the myriad opportunities available to contractors and service providers in both the technical and non-technical domains.
A seminal part of the forum was the business pitching session, where various companies were given the floor to elucidate their services and capabilities. In this session, SynergenOG made a compelling presentation that highlighted its innovative services and the potential contributions it could make to the future of Brunei’s Power Sector. This participation not only elevated SynergenOG’s status as a key player in the energy sector but also emphasized its commitment to fostering strategic partnerships aimed at supporting the sustainable development of Brunei Darussalam’s Power Sector.
The Power Vendor Forum marked an important milestone for SynergenOG, evidencing its dedication to advancing the energy sector in Brunei Darussalam. Through its participation, SynergenOG reaffirmed its desire to be at the forefront of promoting efficiency, sustainability, and innovation within the nation’s energy landscape.
