Allseas Sister Ships Reunited for North Sea Project

For the P11-B Unity project located in the North Sea, Allseas Lorelay and Calamity Jane are joining hands.

A versatile vessel, Lorelay is optimised for executing small and medium diameter pipeline projects of any length in unlimited water depths. It can also handle associated work such as the installation of risers and subsea protection frames.

Launched in 1986, Lorelay served as a new generation of offshore pipelaying, as the world’s first pipelay vessel to operate on full dynamic positioning.

Calamity Jane is a dynamically positioned support vessel assists Allseas’ pipelay vessels activities. The activities may include pre- and post-route survey, crossing preparation and mattress installation. Along with mechanical pipeline trencher Digging Donald, Calamity Jane operates as an independent unit.
