We started as a Process and Operation Safety Management (PSM) consultancy provider : (www.synergenog.com).
Over the years, we had opportunities to work closely with many companies globally. Our idea to establish an Academy for Learning was formed from our engagement and interaction with many stakeholders.
In the last 2 years, post-COVID, we started a small community within our organisation of people passionate about learning, sharing, and growing. We wanted to create an environment that was supportive and engaging, where learners could share their project experiences and build confidence in learning new skills.
Expanding Our Reach: Growing Our Team and Content Multifold
We’ve grown so much since then. We have created our own proprietary content in areas related to Process And Operation Safety Management, starting with Process Safety Management, emphasising the 14 elements of PSM, followed by Effective Risk Management (ERM) and Barrier-based Risk Management (BRM).
Subsequently, we expanded multifold, creating content in Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Hazop/LOPA, and Hazid courses. In addition, we also have electronic-PSM(e-PSM) content on an LMS platform. The e-PSM course is available in multiple languages.
We have trained and added more instructors and mentors to our team and expanded our reach to different parts of Asia and the Middle East.
We know how hard it can be to learn new things when one is already feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges. That’s why we focus on providing quality content with clear steps anyone can follow. We aim to empower learners with the knowledge and confidence they need to achieve their dreams and expand their competencies.
But getting from our first-course launch to where we are now wasn’t easy—there were many challenges along the way. One of our biggest challenges was finding the right balance between quality content, keeping learners’ costs low and obtaining the right international certifications. We had a vision of providing high-quality training at an affordable price point, but this meant that our instructors had to work long hours—sometimes working on weekends or staying up late at night so they could make sure each chapter was perfect before moving on. But after months of hard work, we believe it paid off.
We continue to develop new content and get them endorsed.
Our Sustainability Initiative and Partnership with Country-Centric Academies
As part of our Sustainability initiative and UN SDGS, we are now partnering with other country-centric academies to reach out to school leavers. We believe there lies a lot of potential waiting to be fostered through proper guidance and training.
We hope to make a positive impact by bringing and sharing our knowledge and experience with the learners.
