SynergenOG was hired by a new FPSO operator in Vietnam to conduct an ALARP evaluation for their subsea pipeline configuration. Being a prestigious oil and gas project in Vietnam, the scope of work included providing Consequence Modelling for the pipeline. The training was delivered by experienced SOG personnel, well versed in the provision of these studies for the Oil & Gas industry.
This ALARP evaluation of the SSIV or check valve implementation will be carried out following the Oil & Gas UK Risk Based Decision Framework and will include various criteria such as good practice, risk assessment, precautionary approach and others. Moreover, it will also include a high level of assessment of export gas riser/pipeline leak likelihood and its corresponding consequent impact. This will help us assess the risk reduction afforded by the provision of SSIV or check valve and compare both options to assess the benefit of reducing risk to personnel on the FPSE to ALARP levels.
SynergenOG has been working as the primary consultant to several oil and gas projects in Vietnam. The experienced team of engineers have been committed to timely delivery of quality reports to all the clients .
