MANAGING NOISE AT WORK AND PREVENTING HEARING LOSS | INDUSTRY GUIDANCE NOTE (IGN) by Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) in Brunei.
The document provides information to raise awareness on noise-induced hearing loss, the impact of noise in workplaces and stakeholders’ general responsibility in dealing with noisy work practices and activities at the workplace.
SynergenOG can conduct a noise mapping study to assist facility owners in making effective risk-informed decisions to predict noise levels at the key receiving location. The study considers noise source sound power and location using equipment manufacturer noise data and or owner-specific noise databases. SynergenOG uses noise calculation and noise mapping software that meets DIN 45687 and ISO 17534 Series. The figure below illustrates an isometric view of a facility structure and noise sources’ location and the noise contour produced at the elevation of interest. Once noise level information is available, personnel’s daily noise exposure level can be calculated based on their time distribution at the worksite.
At SynergenOG, we help clients meet their requirements and address their pain points.
