SynergenOG is proud to be part of the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) works in the Bukit Tua Phase 2B Development Project in Indonesia. The safety studies conducted is a requirement of the first phase in the project where the main focus is on providing safety support services, including the topside and riser systems on its’ platform.
The facility is within the Ketapang PSC off the Madura coast where upstream operations achieved first oil in 2015, and is a huge milestone for the PETRONAS Upstream team in Indonesia.
SynergenOG is to assist the contractor in understanding the outcome of the study and implement the recommended risk reduction measure. SynergenOG will also be undertaking significant roles in providing safety support services that include updating the facility’s FERA and QRA to establish the change in the platform risk profile based on BTJT-A platform’s current process conditions and the associated brownfield modifications related to the Bukit Tua South phase 2B project.
