Position: Process Safety Engineer
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Experience Required: 1-5 years
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as a Process Safety Engineer to define, manage and execute the technical safety scope within multidisciplinary project frameworks.
• Lead and conduct comprehensive risk assessments and ensure the quality, technical accuracy and consistency of all process safety deliverables.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement of in-house process safety methodologies, workflows and proprietary software tools.
• Develop, review and refine process safety training materials for internal capability building.
• Support proposal development, technical bids and business development initiatives.
• Interface with clients, partners and stakeholders with a strong technical and professional presence.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, in Chemical or Process or Petroleum Engineering.
Technical Expertise:
• Strong understanding of Risk Management principles and major process safety studies, including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, QRA, Consequence Modelling, Explosion & Fire Studies
• Working knowledge of software tools such as PIPENET, PHAST, SAFETI, PHA-Pro, FLARESIM, ANSYS FLUENT, Detect3D, exSILentia (or equivalent tools) is highly preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong technical writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Clear, confident verbal and written communication.
• Self-driven, adaptable and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving capability.
• Works independently with minimal supervision while thriving in collaborative teams.
• Highly professional, conscientious and eager to grow.
Added Advantage:
• Hands-on experience in facilitating workshops such as HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, Bowtie and Risk Workshops
